ESA Portal Login, Phone Numbers & Contact Info by State

Find Your State's ESA Portal and Contact Info

Looking for your ESA portal login or your state program's phone number? You're not alone — these are among the most common searches from ESA families. Every state manages its ESA program through a different portal and office, and finding the right contact can be frustrating. This page puts all the key links and numbers in one place.

  • Phone: (602) 542-5057 (ESA office, Monday–Friday)
  • Email: ESA@azed.gov

What to Do If You Can't Log In

Portal login issues are common, especially at the start of the school year when thousands of families are accessing the system at once. Before calling your state's support line, try these steps.

  • Reset your password — every portal has a "Forgot Password" link on the login page. Check your spam folder for the reset email.
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies — stale session data can block login on portals like ClassWallet and Odyssey.
  • Try a different browser — some portals work best on Chrome or Safari. If you're using an older browser, update it.
  • Check for system maintenance — portals occasionally go down for scheduled updates, especially on weekends. Check your state's ESA social media or announcement page for maintenance notices.
  • If you're a first-time user, make sure you've completed the account activation step — many portals send an activation email after your ESA application is approved. Check your inbox and spam folder.

When to Call vs. When to Email

Both channels work, but they're better for different situations.

  • Call when: you have an urgent issue (funding hold, application deadline approaching, login completely blocked), you need a real-time answer, or your email hasn't been answered in a week.
  • Email when: you have a non-urgent question, you need a paper trail of the response, or you're submitting documentation that the office requested.
  • Best times to call: Tuesday through Thursday, mid-morning (10–11 AM local time). Monday mornings and Friday afternoons are the busiest.
  • Expected response time for email: 3–7 business days during normal periods, 1–2 weeks during peak (August, January).

ESA Center can't replace your state portal — you'll still need to log in to ClassWallet, Odyssey, or your state's platform to submit official claims. But ESA Center helps you prepare everything before you submit, so you spend less time on the portal and more time with your kids. Join the waitlist for early access.
